Hello Parents
Our large fundraiser is the Bowl-a-thon – it will be happening on Sunday March 24th. There will be two sessions for you to choose from 9:00-10:30 and 10:45-12:15. Here is the link to sign up and make pledges pledgestar.com/primrose/ . Please share this link with family and friends as they can make pledges as well. This is the same platform we used for the jog-a –thon. The PTO has taken feedback on last year’s event and has worked hard to make this a fun family event. Please consider bowling with us. Progress reports should be posted to Aspen on 3/22. We are trying a new format for the March teacher conferences for grades 1-3. Teachers will be doing student led portfolio shares. You might have received information from your child’s teacher already, if not it will be coming shortly. Our goal with these conferences is for students to share their work and talk about their learning. Research shows that students talking about their work and progress leads to higher student engagement. If you would still like a conference to discuss your child after looking at the progress report and their work, please reach out to your child’s teacher. We invite your feedback after this process is completed as this is our first time doing it. Please reach out with any concerns you may have or improvements we can make. Kindergarten will do traditional conferences. There will not be babysitting on this day.
