Hello Parents Thank you to everyone who came to the Spooky Stroll and a big Thank you to parents that helped. It seemed like we had a large attendance! We have a couple of drives happening right now: Warm gently used clothing Socks and Underwear – we are collecting a supply to keep in the Nurses office and whatever we have over our need we will donate to Clothes to Kids RI http://clothestokidsri.org/ A flyer went home Friday – we are extending the deadline until November 7th. Please do not make U turns on Middle Hwy when either dropping off students or picking up students. This is very dangerous and very unexpected. The cold weather is coming – please dress your child appropriately and send them in with hats, gloves, coats. November 3rd is the Playground Launch Party 6pm to 10 pm at the Guild 461 Main Street, Pawtucket. This is an adult only event. Attached is the lunch menu for November. Attached is a flyer from Bayside Y for a Food Drive at Polling places on November 6th. Reminder there is no school on November 6th. Playground Update This week Phase 1 will occur. There will be some demolition and the new Oodle Swing will be installed (if the weather cooperates.)

Lunch visits start tomorrow. Since we have two lunches this year—space is limited. We do not have a parents table so you will need to sit with your child’s class. This is meant as an opportunity for you to have a meal with your child. With parents busy schedules you might not have an opportunity to visit one on one with your child.
Some reminders that help to make this a success are: We request that you put your phone away for the 20 minutes that you are having lunch with your child. Please do not take pictures of other students. Please turn your ringer off on your phone. Please help to model appropriate lunch table manners. If there seems to be a student issue- please get the attention of the staff-please do not reprimand students. We want this to be a positive experience for you and your child. If you have any questions please see me. Grades 2 and 3 have lunch at 12:05 and Grade K and 1 have lunch at 12:30. Please sign in and get a visitor badge.
